Challenge
Babbel, a marketing-driven company, needed a coherent and recognizable brand visual language—a systematic approach flexible enough to adapt to the dynamic demands of performance marketing.

Approach
We began by identifying the brand's distinctive elements and key audience triggers—both thematic and tactical. This laid the foundation for a strong visual hierarchy that is structured, robust, and adaptable. A clear visual map was developed to ensure consistency across campaigns and channels, while enabling micro-projects to stay on-brand and resonate with the audience. Additionally, we built a comprehensive marketing toolkit to streamline the production of high-quality assets and efficiently localize them for diverse markets worldwide.

Orange is the new language.

Outcome
The result was a cohesive and versatile brand visual language that balanced consistency with creative flexibility. The marketing toolkit empowered teams to produce a higher volume of high-quality, on-brand assets, localized seamlessly for global markets. Campaigns across all channels were more unified and impactful, driving stronger audience connection and enhancing Babbel’s brand recognition in an ever-evolving performance marketing landscape.

Design System

The design system brought all visual elements together into a cohesive framework, enabling the creation of confident, recognizable designs that embody Babbel’s identity.

By offering flexible ways to construct brand visuals, the system added depth and variety while ensuring consistency. It serves as a practical guide for crafting on-brand, impactful communications across all channels and touchpoints.

Cards are Modules

We can use them individually or in sets to craft visual narratives and add context. They serve as fundamental building blocks of our design system.

Cut-outs & Silhouettes

We use Cut-outs and Silhouettes to design visually engaging, context-driven content that is both striking and easy to understand. They are playful, versatile, and adaptable, making it easy to tailor visuals for local contexts.

Outcome Photography

Outcome photography is divided into three sub-categories, each highlighting the key motivations behind learning a language. These categories showcase the everyday interactions that language learning enables, the places it allows you to explore, the meaningful experiences it creates, and how it can expand your professional opportunities.

Miscellaneous

We create a diverse range of projects for online/offline activations, from eye-catching materials to immersive brand experiences, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the brand’s identity while engaging audiences in meaningful ways.
